Official data sources are often reported at a handful of granularities, our client wanted the most recent deaths by suicide at a Constituency level to be able to advocate to MPs in areas with higher rates of probable suicides. To enable this we built the first known model at constituency level – which was 75% accurate against the known information – not only giving the data needed, but also identifying why these areas may be more at risk. Filling the void left by official sources, and enabling our client to act.
Ahead of the Spring Statement our client – a national newspaper – wanted to investigate what impact potential changes to inheritance tax may have, and what areas would be the most impacted. To assess this we constructed several audience profiles at a Postcode level to identify the regions most likely impacted should certain policy decisions change. This granular multifaceted approach allowed our client to identify towns most at risk from hypothetical changes and understand the potential impact.
In response to an enquiry by an MP in the North Yorkshire Area, we constructed an assessment as to the suitability of North Yorkshire as a location for an AI Growth Zone. The resulting research looked at multiple avenues and viewpoints from availability of infrastructure, availabilty of land, and the potential impact on growth that such a regional investment could have. From pulling together disparate and disjointed datasets into a cohesive narrative we were able to give the MP the valuable insights they needed.
